FDA publishes notifications when testing finds hidden drug ingredients in products marketed for sexual enhancement, weight loss and other uses.
Reading a notification
A notice typically names the product, the hidden ingredient found, and the date. It applies to what was tested; other lots may differ.
Absence of a warning
Only a small fraction of products on the market are ever tested. No warning does not mean a product has been checked or is safe.
